Seat Belts - Non Retractable Lap Sash
Non-retractable or static lap sash seat belts suit cross-body applications where it is not possible to mount a retractor. These include the front and rear RHS and LHS of many older passenger vehicles. These belts are adjustable with the adjuster mechanism fitted adjacent to the top pillar anchor.
Standard belt length 2.6 metres
Long belt length 3.2 metres
Short belt length 2.0 metres

Buckles are either
Stalk (cable) mounted on the side of the transmission tunnel (vertical surface)
Stalk (cable) mounted on the floor (horizontal surface) – note the anchor plate
Stem (steel plate) mounted on the seat or vertical bracket
Adjustable Webbing or Fixed Length Webbing
