Prices quoted on business enquiries are “warehouse door” prices. Customers may by arrangement collect any goods ordered or can have their preferred freight company collect on their behalf. For those customers who do not have a preferred freight provider, Select Gear can arrange for shipping via a commercial freight provider or Australia Post*. The cost of freight is borne by the purchaser and will be noted separately on any quote or invoice. We use a variety of local couriers, regional operators and national transport providers depending on size and weight of the consignment, the nature of the goods ordered, and the destination.

For consignments freighted by Australia Post, a business or residential address is acceptable. Please note that freight is charged for both Postage and Handling.
For consignments carried by another freight provider, a business address is required. The business address should be attended at all times during business hours. Any redelivery fee incurred through an “unable to deliver” event will be passed on to the purchaser for payment.
For consignments which are palletised, a fork lift or similar device must be available at delivery. Any additional “hand unload” charges will be passed on to the purchaser for payment.
Items marked with the this symbol are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG). Movement of DG by air freight is not allowed as determined by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Movement of DG on land is regulated by the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (the ADG Code).
Australia Post DOES NOT CARRY Dangerous Goods.
This includes all aerosols, all paint and related products and any chemicals of a flammable, toxic or corrosive nature. Consignments which include any Dangerous Goods can only be transported by road, rail or sea. Freight providers commonly charge a “Dangerous Goods” levy or surcharge on any carriage of dangerous goods and this surcharge will be highlighted on our quote. Customers will be made aware at order confirmation of any Dangerous Goods levy or surcharge to which their consignment is subject.
